Bogdan-AndreiDințică

Marine electromechanical engineer · Designer

I pair engineering precision with creative work: from CAD technical drawings and steel structures to 3D models, Unity simulators and graphic design. I seek to build things of worth, so that my life leaves behind more light than shadow.

Patience & persistence

I started at fifteen, as an intern in a marketing and digital design company, and never really stopped: graphic design as a freelancer, then technical drawings and execution details for civil construction as a project engineer, and in recent years marine engineering — with a 3D/VR simulator of an LNG carrier as my diploma project.

I graduated in Naval Electromechanics at the "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy in Constanța, and I am continuing with a master's in naval architecture in Galați. My thesis covered the design and operation of an LNG carrier's propulsion plant — from sizing the engine, shaft line and propeller to the alarm and protection philosophy — and it was defended with the maximum grade.

What I actually enjoy is the point where the two halves meet: a drawing that has to be built, a machine that has to be understood well enough to be simulated, an idea that has to be explained to someone who was not in the room. That is also why the design side never went away — it is how the technical work becomes legible.

Today I split my time between naval engineering, simulation development and design work. The simulator became a company, V&B Naval Simulators, built together with Viorel Chihaia.

Where I've worked

2024 — 2025

Project Engineer · Taban Design Construct

CAD technical drawings and execution details for civil construction — including a pedestrian passage cladding I designed myself and saw installed on site.

2021 — 2022

Designer · UNSR

Visual materials for the students' non-profit organisation: campaigns, identity and event graphics.

2019 — 2020

Freelance graphic designer

Online design projects taken in parallel with high school (Mathematics–Informatics).

2018 — 2019

Intern · SmartPoint

First contact with digital design and the Adobe suite — at fifteen I was already delivering finished work: banners, posts and marketing campaigns.

Open to projects and opportunities in marine engineering, 3D/VR simulation and design. Write to me anytime — I answer every message.

Borders? I have never seen one. But I have heard they exist in the minds of some people.
